Privacy, plain and simple
We ask for one thing: your email address. Here is what happens to it.

Who looks after your data?
Rhinestone Ranch is responsible for the information collected on this site. Questions or requests can go to [email protected].
What do we collect?
If you register your interest, we store your email address, the time you signed up, and the version of the consent wording you agreed to. We do not add your name, IP address, browsing history, or advertising profile to the interest list.
Why do we use it?
We use your email address to tell you about upcoming Rhinestone Ranch line-dancing events. We rely on your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
Event announcements count as direct marketing under UK privacy rules, even though we do not send third-party adverts. We will keep the subject focused on our line-dancing events.
How long do we keep it?
We keep your signup until you withdraw consent or we stop the event-update service. We then delete it. Email us at the privacy address whenever you want us to remove it; every future event email must also include a working way to unsubscribe.
Who can receive it?
We never sell the interest list, use it for third-party ads, or use it for unrelated marketing. Cloudflare processes site and database traffic for us. A future email-delivery provider may process addresses only to send our event updates.
A venue or event-service partner receives information only when it is genuinely needed to provide information or a service you asked for. We do not hand the signup list to a venue simply because it hosts an event.
Some infrastructure providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, the provider must use an approved UK transfer safeguard. ReadCloudflare’s privacy policy for its current details.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- stop sending updates and withdraw your consent;
- show you the personal information we hold;
- correct or delete it;
- restrict how it is used; or
- provide a portable copy where that right applies.
Email [email protected]. You can also complain to theInformation Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and ticket sales
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Ticket sales are not live, so this site does not currently load a ticket processor or its cookies.
